BACKGROUND/AIMS: In hepatic fibrogenesis, stellate cells are activated leading to
production and deposition of extracellular matrix. To clarify the role of PDGF-B in liver
fibrogenesis, we overexpressed PDGF-B in the liver of transgenic mice. METHODS:
